Question #182709

emission of radiation?

Expert's answer

Spontaneous emission of radiation occurs when an atom decays from its excited state into a lower energy level after which it releases energy inform of a photon in random direction while stimulated emission of radiation occurs when an atom or molecule at ground state meets a photon of equal energy to that of atom or molecule current energy level.
