the Mean free path "(\\lambda)" given by many equations after substituting value of different functions in different forms.


given below is standard form of equation;


MEAN FREE PATH ; "\\boxed{\\lambda={RT\\over\\sqrt2 \\pi d^2N_AP}}"


from the given equation , when be observe the temperature term independently ;

we can see that mean free path is directly and linearly proportional to temperature, and inversely proportional to pressure .


therefore for effect of temperature we can see that as temperature increase, mean free path will also increase .
