What is the effect of temperature on mean free path in ideal gas?
the Mean free path "(\\lambda)" given by many equations after substituting value of different functions in different forms.
given below is standard form of equation;
MEAN FREE PATH ; "\\boxed{\\lambda={RT\\over\\sqrt2 \\pi d^2N_AP}}"
from the given equation , when be observe the temperature term independently ;
we can see that mean free path is directly and linearly proportional to temperature, and inversely proportional to pressure .
therefore for effect of temperature we can see that as temperature increase, mean free path will also increase .
"\\boxed{\\lambda \\propto T}"
