Interference of light: It is a special phenomenon of light in which two wave superpose to each other, if both are in the same direction then the amplitude of the resultant wave will get increase if it is superimpose in opposite direction then resultant amplitude will get reduce.


Diffraction of light:

When a ray of light passing through the very sharp opening, then at the corner then ray of light bends from it's original path and it illuminate to those area where shadow is expected.
