We know from lens formula 1f=1v1u\frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v} - \frac{1}{u} where f - focal length = 0.15m = 15cm,

u = object distance = −0.6m = −60cm and v = image distance

Thus putting the above values in the equation we get,

1f=1v1u\frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v} - \frac{1}{u} = 11016=3530=230=>v=15cm\frac{1}{10} - \frac{1}{6} = \frac{3 - 5}{30} = \frac{-2}{30} => v = -15cm

m = vu\frac{v}{u} = 15cm60cm=14\frac{-15cm}{-60cm} = \frac{1}{4}
