f= Focal length of convex lens = 25cm
μ= refractive index of crown glass = 1.52
We know the lens maker's formula
i.e.,
f1=(μ−1)(R11−R21) Here, R1 and R2 are the radii of the curvatures
For convex lens, R2 is flat , so R21=0
So, the formula will becomes as below,
f1=(μ−1)(R11)
251=(1.52−1)(R11)
251=(0.52)(R11)
R1=0.52×25=13cm
Answer: Yes
