Why does the polar bears furr fluff up during winter and lie flat during summer?

Polar bears furr acts like thermostat. During winter when its cold it fluff up to absorb mote air. Than bears body make it warmer but that heat is keeping in air layers in fluff. In summer when its hot fluff lie and body interect with outer invironment faster and the temperature is stable.
