What is heat and thermodynamics with detail
Thermodynamics is a branch of physics that studies heat and the processes of its transformation into other types of energy, as well as reverse processes. In general terms, a thermodynamic system is characterized by temperature, volume, pressure and chemical composition. The three laws of thermodynamics describe the most general properties of a system, disregarding the internal molecular structure.
The internal energy of a thermodynamic system can be changed in two ways: by doing work on the system and by heat exchange with the environment. The energy that a body receives or loses in the process of heat exchange with the environment is called the thermal energy or simply heat.
