As we are moving towards the ground the density of the air particles are getting increase, due to the force of gravity, it applies the force to the lower particle.

We know that mass = $\rho A dx$

Weight of the air is =$\rho A dx g$

So, air pressure is $dP=\rho A g dx$

$\int_o^P dP=\int_o^h \dfrac{\rho A gdx}{A}$

$P= \rho gh$

So, density of air and the gravitational acceleration is depending on the medium.
