Why can the spacecraft being shipped to the Moon from an artificial Earth satellite, not be streamlined?

Streamlined shape is needed in order to minimize air resistance at the start from the Earth's surface, when moving in a vacuum environment, the resistance is absent and the body of any form move similarly.
