Question #55315

M=500 g; V=10 m/s; dt=0,1 sec

F - ?

We write Newton's second law to strike the wall:

MdV/dt=FM^{*}dV/dt = F, where dV=V(V)dV = V - (-V) is absolute change of speed during the strike, dtdt – time of collision.

Then F=2MV/dt=20,510/0,1=100F=2M^{*}V/dt=2^{*}0,5^{*}10/0,1=100 N

Answer: F=100F = 100 N.
