4 strings of same length are made of steel iron copper and brass. The thickness of work in all should be same. First take the steel spring.fix its one end with a rihide stand and fix a hanger towards the other end on which weight can be pla ed. Also fix a scale along its side towards the other end.
Place a 50 g load on the hanger and measure the extension.add 50 g load on the hanger in about 5 steps and measure the extention each time. Plot a graph between load and extension. Repeat this activity with springs made of iron, copper and brass. Plot load extension graph in each case compare these graphs. Which of the above material obey hook's law?
