1 metre per second =3.6 kilometres per hour

1mi/hour = 1.60934 km/hr

100 miles per hour = "100 \u00d7 1.60934 = 160.934 km\/hr"

"=3.6\u00d750=180km\/hr"

180km/hr is more than 100mi/hr( 160km/hr), hence the driver is exceeding.
