Answer to Question #199369 in Mechanics | Relativity for Zoha

Question #199369

I was going through the topic of entropy and i searched about heat death (which means universe will end after getting too cold for humans to live) but mam we have read alot about increasing temperature and global warming ...mam actually the question is will the universe end (according to science) because of heat death despite global warming (and not end because of global warming)...Will global warming end after heat death of universe?

Something is liberating about understanding the impermanence of existence. The world will most likely come to an end as a result of heat death. It's the point at which the cosmos grows and expands and cools, and everything decays and fades away. This devastation might occur at any time. In around five billion years, the sun will grow to its red giant phase, extinguishing life on Earth and consuming the orbits of Mercury and maybe Venus. There will be no more global warming after heat death.

When the universe hits heat death, everything will be the same temperature everywhere. That implies there will be no more intriguing events. Every star will die, practically all matter will disintegrate, and all that will be left is a scant soup of particles and radiation in the end.
