Mass M=0.600 kg

Radius is R=0.05 m

Angular speed is ω=600rev/min=62.83rad/s\omega =600 rev/min = 62.83 rad/s

The kinetic energy of the system is

K=12Iω2=12(25MR2)ω2K= \frac{1}{2}I \omega^2= \frac{1}{2}( \frac{2}{5} MR^2) \omega^2

=15MR2ω2=15(0.60)(0.05)2(62.83)2=1.184J=\frac{1}{5} MR^2 \omega^2=\frac{1}{5} (0.60)(0.05)^2(62.83)^2=1.184 J
