  1. In the most simple case (hydrostatic pressure), the pressure is proportinal to the density, as the pressure is due to the gravity force acting of the liquid. In the dynamic cases the dependance can be, obviously, more difficult, but the general trend is conserved due to the same physical argument : gravity force being proportional to the density plays a big role in the total pressure.
  2. Hydrostatic pressure is proportional to the depth, as the deeper we are, the bigger is the layer of water that apply the pressure with it's weight. In the particular case of water, for every 10 meters the pressure is increased by 1 atmosphere, in general "\\Delta p = \\rho g \\Delta h".
