Maximum velocity will be u sinθ\theta.

Now, equate it to maximum potential energy.

mgh=(1/2)mu2m*g*h=(1/2)mu^2

h=(1/2)u2sin2θ/gh = (1/2)u^2sin^2\theta/g , here Sin θ\theta part is function of θ\theta .
