Why we should not use many electrical appliances simultaneously?

Every electrical appliance has it's own current consumption. If you'll turn on a lot of powerful devices, the current consumption may increase to dangerous level. That may cause cable overheating and firing, for example. To prevent that, electrical fuses are used. They burn out if the current consumption is overheaded.
