Given, E=50Cos(102t+βx)ayE=50Cos(10^{2}t+\beta x)a_{y}

Compare the above equation with the standard equation;

E=E0Cos(ωtβx)ayE=E_{0}Cos(\omega t-\beta x)a_{y}

So, E0=50E_{0}=50

Direction of propagation =ax=-a_{x} i.e. x-x directiondirection
