We know that $(\frac{E_1}{E_2})=(\frac{N_1}{N_2})$

$\Rightarrow N_2=\frac{E_2\times N_1}{E_1}$

$\Rightarrow N_2=\frac{240\times 100}{6}=4000$

Hence, total number of turns in the coil is 4000.
