but here resistance (R)=8.0Ω(R)=8.0 \Omega

Current in the circuit (i)=0.5A(i)=0.5A

the potential of the battery

V=iRV= iR

V=8×0.5=4V\Rightarrow V = 8\times 0.5 = 4V

If all are connected in series then the current in all the resistance will be same.

Electrical power (P)=VI(P)=VI

=4×0.5=2watt=4\times 0.5 = 2watt
