but here resistance "(R)=8.0 \\Omega"

Current in the circuit "(i)=0.5A"

the potential of the battery

"V= iR"

"\\Rightarrow V = 8\\times 0.5 = 4V"

If all are connected in series then the current in all the resistance will be same.

Electrical power "(P)=VI"

"=4\\times 0.5 = 2watt"
