Question #85804

How do we call the two connection terminals of the oscilloscope?

Expert's answer

That is an interesting question. Some oscilloscopes may have banana terminals or BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) connectors to connect them to the oscilloscope. The terminal responsible for Y-signal input is called "Y-input terminal, the one for X-signal input is called "X-input terminal", they can be also called channel 1 and channel 2 terminals or inputs. Hope this helps you.
