The photon is an elementary physics particle. It is the quantum – basic thing – of the electromagnetic fields, also it is a part of weak and gravitational interaction. Its rest mass is 0. It exists only if it moves with the speed of light which can be defined as 1/√(μ_0 ε_0 )=299 792 458 m/s.
