Common emitter amplifier current gain is given by (∆I_c)/(∆I_B ) …………………..(1) ∆I_c = change in collector current ∆I_B = change in base current As the collector resistance is high , so the base current has medium effect on collector current. So, the current gain is medium not maximum as per equation (1). So, the statement is false.
