IR drop across resistor means there is a change in potential or voltage across the resistor due to current flowing through the resistor. According to Ohm’s law,
V = RI
Where, V= voltage across the resistor
R = resistance
I = current
Now, we know R is constant. And for a particular resistance, current depends on applied voltage. So, when current passes through a resistor, no change in current seen unless we change the resistance.

Answer: No change in current.
