1) Fan is moving, which is it faster when fan is standing horizontal with earth or vertical with same force?

2) Fan can be moving in air? How about in space?

Answer: 1) The rotating speed of propeller and the speed of blown-out air do not depend from the orientation of the fan. Though, when propeller axis is in vertical position, friction in the bearings on the propeller's shaft can decrease a bit, resulting that the speed of propeller slightly increases.

2) Usual household fan can not move in the air. A fan with a size and rotating speed of an industrial propeller engine will be able to move in the air.

Air is absent in the space, and fan will not move in certain direction, no matter how big and powerful it is.
