Effective resistance ReffR_{eff} of two resistors RR in parallel is given by

Reff=RRR+R=R22R=R2R_{eff}=\frac{RR}{R+R}=\frac{R^2}{2R}=\frac{R}{2}

Reff(1)=332=16.5ΩR_{eff(1)}=\frac{33}{2}=16.5\Omega

Reff(2)=332=16.5ΩR_{eff(2)}=\frac{33}{2}=16.5\Omega

The value of single resistor

=16.5+16.5=16.5+16.5

=33Ω=33\Omega
