current drawn by the circuit?

From Ohms law;

V=IR

Where ;

V is Voltage, I is current and R is resistance.

From the equation;

$I=\frac VR$

In series connection;

$R_T=R_1+R_2+...$

$R_T=4\Omega+6\Omega=10\Omega$

Hence the current drawn is;

$I=\frac V{R_T}=\frac{12}{10}=1.2A$

Answer;

1.2A
