Area(A)=1mm2

R=5ohm

We know that

R=ρlAR=\frac{\rho l}{A}

ρ=RAl\rho=\frac{RA}{l}

Put value


ρ=5×10620=2.5×107Ωm\rho=\frac{5\times10^{-6}}{20}=2.5\times10^{-7}\Omega m

We know that

σ=1ρ\sigma=\frac{1}{\rho}


σ=12.5×107=4×106mho/m\sigma=\frac{1}{2.5\times10^{-7}}=4\times10^6mho/m
