What will be the flux through a closed surface. Why does not contain any charge?

According to Gauss's theorem


Φ=1ϵ0qi\Phi=\frac{1}{\epsilon_0}\sum q_i . So, if qi=0q_i=0 then Φ=0\Phi=0 .

If a closed surface does not have any charges inside the enclosed volume, then the electric flux through the surface is zero.
