Resistance Vs Diameter


Resistance:- The resistance of a conductor is the property by virtue of which it oppose the flow of charges through it.




Diameter:- Diameter is a chord that runs through the centre point of the circle. It is also the area of cross section of the conductor.




*Resistance is inversely proportional to the diameter.


That R propto 1/A (A- area of cross section)


* That is the larger the diameter of a wire the lower it's resistance and vice versa. Because the charge carries have more path along with to travel
