Gives

Length (l)=15meter

Cross section area (A)=5×10m2=50m25\times10 m^2=50m^2

R=5 ohms

Resistivity

ρ=RAl(1)\rho=\frac{RA}{l}\rightarrow(1)

Put value in eqution (1)


ρ=5×5015Ωm\rho=\frac{{5}\times{50}}{15}\Omega m


ρ=16.66Ωm\rho=16.66\Omega m

Part (b)

Conductivity

σ=1ρ\sigma=\frac{1}{\rho}

σ=155×50mho/meter\sigma=\frac{15}{5\times50} mho/meter

σ=0.06mho/meter\sigma=0.06mho/meter
