A circuit shows a 12v power supply connected to some resistors. The current in the resistor x is 2A and the current in 6 ohms is 0.5A. Find resistance of resistor x?
Since currents in the resistors are different, resistors are connected in parallel. So:
"6\\cdot0.5=R_x\\cdot2"
"R_x=3\/2=1.5\\ ohms"
