For example, the capacitance of the parallel plate capacitor is

where $\varepsilon_r$ - the relative permittivity of the material between plates;

$\varepsilon_0$ - absolute dielectric permittivity of vacuum;

S - the area of the plate;

d - the distance between the plates.
