In Bipolar Junction transistor($BJT$ ),

Current gain $\beta=\dfrac{I_c}{I_b}$

$\Rightarrow I_c=\beta I_b$

$\Rightarrow I_c\propto I_b$

Now for increase in $I_b$ The collector current $I_c$ Increses. Since ($I_c\propto I_b$)

Hence $I_c$ increases.
