Dmitri Mendeleev is often regarded as the Father of the Periodic Table. Would you say that Henry Moseley deserves the recognition more than him?
I wouldn't say so because what Henry Moseley actually did was the confirmation of correctness of the periodic table already arranged by Dmitri Mendeleev, slight correction (swapped nickel and cobalt). Also, Moseley's contribution resulted in finding some missing elements (lanthanides).
