The type of interaction that causes its decay is electroweak. The decay chain:

"B^-\\rightarrow D^0\\pi^-."

The B-negative meson decays into neutral D and negative π meson (pion).

According to Browder and Honscheid (2008), "there may be multiple combinations in a given decay chain".
