How to determine the distance of diffrent stars from the earth?
can you determine the mass of our moon?if yes than what you need to know?
In what direction is Venus moving when it is at greatest elongation?
1. It is not possible to say because the direction is different from one greatest elongation to the next.
2. perpendicular to the line from Venus to the Earth
3. directly toward or away from the Sun
4. directly toward or away from the Earth
My question pertains to the force of gravity across the entire universe. More specifically, it pertains to the force of gravity from certain objects like the earth, or certain individuals on the earth like myself or anybody, for instance. Given the equation for the force between distant objects declines at a rate of the square root of the distance between two objects, that would still mean some infinitely small amount of force is connected between objects on the opposite ends of the known universe, no matter how small. Is it possible that these strung out forces have any measurable or perceivable effect, even if we can't measure it or perceive it at this point, even at the sub-atomic level. Any insight would be appreciated. My slant on this is that it might explain the human mind's tendency towards religion, feeling that the heavens or stars actually have an effect on the sub-atomic aspect of the neurons of the human brain. I'm not a quirky fellow, I just want to know if I'm on the right track or not.
If the masa of the sun deacreases gravity is earth moving away from sun beacause of deacreases in the gravity of sun
a uniform steel wire of length 3m and area of cross section 2mm square is extended through 3mm calculate the energy stored in the wire if the elastic limit is not exceeded Ysteel=20 into 100000000000
how many asstronomical units are ther in 1 metre?
The mass of the sun is 1.991x10^30 kg and its density is 1.410 g/cm^3. What is the volume of the sun in m^3?
How correct is the measurement of the mass of planets and stars? There is no way we can know correctly how heavy are stars or even galaxies . Even the formula won't work cause we don't know the mass of moon to find the mass of earth . How can we prove how heavy is a mountain without knowing 100% the material and actual volume , measuring gigantic objects is impossible with our technology
A planet has twice the mass of earth.how much larger would the radius of the plant have to be for the gravitational field strength at the planet surface to be same as on earth surface
