I agree with the statement since in Africa we embrace the aspect of Ubuntu Philosophy. We live in harmony and together in a peaceful manner. We humanely treat one another. We, therefore, co-exist sustainably since we respect and value one another in a brotherly and sisterly manner. Hence, individualism is discouraged by African philosophy.

In philosophy, empiricism is a model that indicates that knowledge emanates only or mainly from sensory experience. Empiricism stands out as one of the numerous views of epistemology, along with skepticism and rationalism. Thus, empiricism accentuates the function of experiential evidence in the creation of ideas, rather than traditions or innate ideas.

In the arena of education, Locke is important both for his overall model of knowledge and for his concepts on the education of formative years. Locke's empiricism, articulated in his view that ideas instigate experience, was utilized to attack the dogma that doctrines of reason are inborn in the anthropoid mind.
