Yes, I have not been able to revert back to some relationships.

How to shield relationships that matter form money and power

Money and power in relationship shows competition and the more you compete with the other there is a likelihood of preserving the love and trust reduces.

One needs to regularly and constantly educate and coach the other person and disabuse the mind of the wrong beliefs that love doesn't matter, money and power reigns.

Also puting expectations clear between the you and your partner.

Again, having shared interests with your partner can also help.
