Millennials are often at odds with their parents on so many things. List down five (5) issues that you always find being debated upon or quarreled upon with your parents and ponder the reasons why.

Millennial are to be addressed as lazy, self centered and .Parents or the older generation may think that the millennial generation is unconcerned about anything and only wants to laugh. Play games and watching tv. And millennial think that they know that they can do things well because of the advancement and modern ways they have than those older generation. I believe there's always been difficulties and issues in families between parents or older generations and the millennial. The baby boomers generation and generation Y is different they've may face opposite circumstances and events during their times. As children become adults, their interests and activities diverge from those of their elders. A lot of it is natural and the outcome of the young people becoming more self-sufficient. That going through with independence and curiosity is thrilling for the younger generation, who view themselves as moving away from parental authority, but it is concerning for parents, who feel themselves as losing influence on children and unable to maintain a watchful eye on them.

The problem is made more difficult by modern technologies. IPads, phones, gaming devices, and other electronic gadgets are convenient methods to avoid family interactions. Many families I know are dissatisfied at mealtimes since their children are engrossed in their devices rather than communicating with their parents and others at the table. At the very least, this behavior is considered impolite. Some households have enacted by keeping their destructive things. When mealtime, reviewing and sleeping, they turnoff the TV and place their phones in a designated lockers and reclaim after they’ve done. At the dining table, cell phones are not permitted. You ought not chat or use social media on the phone with others while ignoring the individuals with whom you are spending time and it's quite impolite. So, their cultural background is somewhat not the same with the younger generations. Although there are good and bad instances to be considered.

On other aspect, adults make decisions, it is not the responsibility of their parents to determine what other adults should do. A parent must recognize that their child is an adult just let go of them at a certain time. Failure to do so will result in their child's crippling. Issues are some parents make decision to their children, an example of this is some may choose for the career of their children, taking up professions like engineer, doctor and lawyer because they think this are good for them. Reasons are because in the olden times parents hold decision for their children like arrange marriage which does not fit during this time. We have this different backgrounds and we cannot blame the millennial why do they act those ways because time is changing expose to the modern ways and making far from the traditional ways, which there are good and bad things. The same through with the parents they aim to apply their moral conduct of what they have experienced and learned during their times to their children because they know it is good for them, somehow the millennial do not understand.
