In the Bible: blessedness means a kind of happiness that only God can give the kind he created us for. The kind we look and desire for in our hearts but can never find somewhere else. Augustine once said, “My heart is restless until it rest in you.” Joy, a meaning, a fulfillment that goes much deeper than happiness that comes with money or popularity and this is what Jesus wants for us. He came to show us how to live to the fullest and not end up wasting our lives away.

Yes I believe that our spirit does not die but immediately participates in the spiritual heavens. I believe we are essentially spirit beings inhabiting bodies. But after death, there is no limitation of a resurrected man. That’s why walls could not limit a resurrected Jesus. Believing in an afterlife is one of the six articles of faith in Islam. The deceased are in an intermediary state, until the great resurrection. At the time of resurrection, it will be revealed whether they go to heaven or hell.
