An African philosophy of education is a way of asking questions about education in Africa. It allows education students to search for meanings that relate to their chosen field. An African philosophy of education offers a discourse to address the continent's many problems .African philosophy of education is action as it points to doing or enacting an activity with some morally worthwhile purpose or just action. Reflective action involves an identification of major problems on the African continent. Determining the educational implications of problems identified.The Ubuntu philosophy articulates such important values as respect, human dignity, compassion, solidarity and consensus, which demands conformity and loyalty to the group. However, modern African society is constituted of people from different cultures and backgrounds. a teacher would be able to view and analyze from the perspective of their students. Apart from understanding why students are behaving in a particular way, teachers would also be able to know how students perceive their actions. Just as if it helps students, it helps them as well.
