The Philippine government has reduced the required quarantine time by one week for fully vaccinated people who have been vaccinated in the Philippines and are returning from abroad. This policy change was announced on Friday, June 4, by President Harry Roque's spokesman. "All fully vaccinated travelers must undergo a seven-day quarantine upon arrival," Roque said. This is shorter than the mandatory 14-day quarantine generally required for arriving travelers. Currently, only returning Filipinos and some types of foreigners can enter the country. Arrival records, which included all who arrived, are required to self-quarantine for 10 days at a facility and to quarantine for four days at their homes or destinations. Fully vaccinated people Vaccinated people in the Philippines only need to complete a seven-day quarantine at an accredited facility. After that, there is no more quarantine at home. The shorter quarantine period does not apply to Filipino citizens who are vaccinated abroad. It also does not apply to foreigners who have been vaccinated in a country outside the Philippines.
