In a philosophical setting, subjectivity refers to the absence of objective reality. Subjectivity is defined as the characteristic or state of Something being a subject, narrowly defined as an individual who has conscious experiences such as views, feelings, beliefs, and wants, according to three popular definitions. In philosophy, objectivity refers to the idea of reality unaffected by individual subjectivity (bias resulting from one's perception, emotions, or imagination). When the truth requirements are satisfied without being influenced by a conscious subject, it is said to have objective truth.
