B. First of all, it was Socrates who was considered to be “The Father of Western Philosophy” due to his immense contribution to the field. He became famous for his tendency to question everything and everyone. His teaching technique, which was later branded as the Socratic method, involved clarifying question after question until his followers came to fully understand on their own. He hardly directly wrote anything about his teachings, but rather it was his students, the likes of Plato, that documented his teachings.
