It is very difficult for teachers to handle the mental health status of learners because many learners do not disclose their problems. For example, a student who is undergoing a different sexual orientation from others, such a student may not disclose the problem to anyone. Therefore, may live in depression for a very long time.

Teachers can therefore help the students who have mental health problems by engaging all students in guidance and counseling services. The services should not only aim at fishing out the students with the problems but also aim at providing the services to the whole school in a conference to help in preventing, controlling, and curing the mental problems among all students. The teachers can also undergo psychiatric training to empower them to deal with mental problems. The school timetables should also include life skill lessons where topics are discussed in groups to support the students with mental problems.
