  1. What are those you consider you know, yet in the end it is not knowledge at all?

Knowledge in philosophy is describes as the practical or theoretical understanding of a particular subject. Sometimes knowing about something or someone cannot be proved as knowledge because it might end up being false. Having a perception cannot be classified as having full knowledge about something or someone. For example, being told that a certain restaurant is not good yet once you visit the restaurant you find out that the town is safe’’ The perception from then on changes. Knowledge therefore is knowing that the town is safe and practical because you experienced it.

2. What are those you consider you do not know yet when you have known them, they turn out to be true and deserve the knowledge indeed?

Knowledge can either be procedural, personal, or propositional. At times an individual might know that a particular restaurant, according to the statistics, is not good according to a certain study. However, the person does not truly believe it to be true. Eventually, it turns out to be true once they visit. The situation shows that the person had the knowledge, and because they could not clarify, they thought it was not knowledge, and it ends up being true and practical. In philosophy, that which is classified as knowledge is that which has an explanation and is practical. It should be able to count if it has these qualities.

3. Basing on your grasp upon reading the article, pin down elements that help you attain true and correct knowledge? Provide five examples.

True and correct knowledge is obtained when there are facts and supporting evidence to it. For example, in the sentence 'Carmen is a liar .' It cannot be ascertained that indeed Carmen is a liar. This means that there is a high likelihood that Carmen is not a liar, and at the same time, it may be true that she is. Another element is the property of sentences. The sentences need to be complete, and they have to be factual fully. The other element is that a sentence should either agree with facts or discuss the facts. For example, the sentence Carmen is a liar does not discuss the reason why.

4.Basing on your insight upon reading the article, pin down elements that cause you to be deceived from attaining true and correct knowledge? Offer five items (aside from being identified in the reading)

Skepticism deters us from attaining true knowledge. Instead of probing further, being skeptical

causes us to question everything and sometimes even the facts. Another element is being irrational. An irrational individual reacts quickly without taking time to analyze the fact. Another item is justifications. When an individual knows something, they are more likely to be in denial and to justify. True knowledge comes when we have the ability to practice correct thinking and understanding of the situation before reacting. It is also imperative to first take time and analyze then react once all facts are together and when one is well settled.

5.How convinced are you about the way “correct thinking” is explained and understood in the reading article? Why or why not?

Correct thinking is well explained because it involves an in-depth study of the situation and making valid conclusions from it. Any person who utilizes correct thinking also thinks about the possibilities of the outcome. it is through finding the truth fact that we can achieve correct thinking. It allows one to think and examine a situation first before making any conclusion. When a person has correct thinking, they are rational in their choices, and they take time before responding or reacting. It allows one to gather the necessary facts before reacting.
