Hume's bundle theory of self states that instead of selves in the world, there might be bundles of perceptions; that is, a concentration of mental experiences without any specific essence. I agree with this sentiment because it urges people to consider the impression that gives their concept of self, instead of only referring themselves to the stable entities that last over time. Although human beings observe their experiences, they never think of the eventualities that come beyond transient feelings, impressions, and sensations. As such, people should observe themselves in a unified way, considering the impressions that give them the concept of self.
