Objective: Examine how the major Social Science theories can be applied in the present situations or problems existing in our society.

Research on any of the issues or problems existing in our society.
Apply any of the three major social science theories in your theoretical framework.
You are given one week to finish your research.
Follow the suggested research outline.
You're in Las Vegas and you place a huge wager at the Bellagio Casino on the Patriots to win on Sunday. You bet $20,000 for the chance to win $30,000. The Patriots win. You bring the stub to the Bellagio. They say, "I'm sorry, but this was a wager and not a legally binding contract." They then refuse to pay you.
Is the Bellagio right? Can you sue?
After eight years as a marketing assistant for the New York office of a large French bank, Sarah Schiffler was told that her job, in a non-revenue-producing department, was being eliminated. Her choices: She could either be laid off (with eight months' severance pay) or stay on and train for the position of credit analyst, a career route she had turned down in the past. Nervous about making mortgage payments on her new condo, Sarah agreed to stay, but after six months of feeling miserable in her new position she quit.
On TV or over the Internet, you may have seen a public message or communication about a health care issue or topic. For example, you may have seen messages about COVID-19 safety, flu season, or even information about where to seek certain types of health services. Think about a time in your life where you saw a public health care message or communication and you were confused or concerned by the message.
Plot the above data on an SPC chart. (8) Hint: Use 335 as the lower control limit and 350 as the upper control limit. 4.2.2 Analyse and comment on the process.
