If three persons , on an average, come to a company for job interview per day, then determine the probability that less than three people have come for an interview on a given day.

The Caribbean Paradise has 39 more deluxe staterooms than the Pacific Paradise. The Mediterranean Paradise has 40 fewer deluxe staterooms than three times the number of deluxe staterooms on the Pacific Paradise. Find the number of deluxe staterooms for each of the ships if the total number of deluxe staterooms for the three ships is 659.

Suppose you just received a shipment of fourteen televisions. Three of the televisions are defective. If two televisions are randomly​ selected, compute the probability that both televisions work. What is the probability at least one of the two televisions does not​ work?
